Tax

These are the areas which we would normally cover:

1. Completion of your tax return. Ensuring that it is accurately completed and filed on time. You really do not want to start paying penalties.

2. Ensuring all your expenses are claimed.

3. Checking your tax code.

4. Filing your VAT returns.

5. Tax planning. There has been a lot of media attention given to tax avoidance. We don’t promote schemes which will get you into trouble. Our advice is play it straight, take advantage of the tax reliefs on offer and sleep easy at night.

A lot of business people leave their tax planning until after the year end. However there are often good opportunities to make your tax plans in advance of the year end. Some of these can save you money and others can help you avoid penalties and problems. Don’t leave it too late.
